I Want This

sold.

While in France, we visited a town with the most beautifully colored buildings. Apparently they got their colors from the surrounding hills, which were red and orange. I called it the Ocher Town, but I'm sure it had a proper name. At any rate, these folks were walking through and, well ... can you see me passing up the opportunity to paint this?

Rousillon. They make paints from the different ochre and minnerals! I've been there too...wonderful place.

The Luberon. Nice trip! I've only seen it in the movies....

Carole, do you take a photo since the people will probably move on rather quickly?

Do you take photos of the people and the paint?
Has can you catch the shadows and lights?

Hi Patsy! Yes, this is from a photo. They stood like this for about 1 second. : )

The shinning light- Yes, I took photos, many of them, and chose the best one. Normally I use my DSLR, but on this day it wasn't working right, so I used my cell phone. I was surprised how good the photos were, including light and shadow. : )
